AR Fachruddin Mousque Library

AR Fachruddin Mousque Library

The presence of the A.R. Mosque Mosque Library Fachruddin started as part of the LSIK (Institute for Islamic Studies and Kemuhammadiyahan) in 1998 which needed space or facilities for Islamic studies for UMM academics and reading rooms and sources of information. However, in the process of managing the collection, it remains under the supervision and assistance of the UMM Central Library. Over time in 2000 the A.R. Mosque Library Fachruddin became a management unit with the UMM Central Library as a user service unit for all faculties at UMM.

The collection owned by the A.R. Mosque Library Fachruddin totaled + 8487/18994 titles/copies, consisting of reference collections, general collections, and collections of books (in Arabic) which account for ± 35% of the entire collection in the mosque's library. Because the collection of books in Arabic is dominated by books of interpretation and hadith, the mosque library is used as a practical class for hadith and interpretation courses.

The service system in the Mosque Library has similarities with the UMM Central Library as its parent, starting from transactions (loans, returns, extensions) and applicable regulations also follow the Central Library.

The location of the mosque's library is in the area of the A.R. Fachruddin 2nd floor.

Services Monday - Friday (08.00 to 16.30 WIB), Saturday (08.00 - 12.00 WIB).
