Scopus outreach

In an effort to answer the challenges of the rapid flow of information in the globalization era which places more emphasis on technological sophistication, it is only natural that the development of infrastructure and the improvement of human resource capabilities (HR) are needed to compensate for this. With good quality human resources and infrastructure owned by an institution, it will certainly have an impact on the services to be provided. The same thing applies to the library, as an information space for the public, of course, the library must keep up with global changes so that it can be used as a choice or destination for them to find solutions and become a source of inspiration.
With the aim of providing optimal services for users, the UMM Library also did not escape demands to further improve its capabilities, especially in human resources. One of them is by improving skills such as attending training or activities that can support both local, national, and international scales. For this provision, the library has also held activities internally in collaboration with the UMM LPPI (Scientific Publication Development Institute) to hold training for Librarians and library administration staff on June 9 2023, with the topic "Empowering Quality Research with Scopus", as speaker Johan Jang.
It is hoped that this socialization will be able to broaden the horizons of library staff, especially librarians so that later they will be able to technically assist library users in terms of research and journal selection.
