Libraries are one of the best means of providing literacy from an early age to children so that they become accustomed to going to the right place to look for information. Utilizing the library as a place for recreation and learning is the right combination to introduce them to a friendly, safe, and fun place to study. As was the case with SD Muhammadiyah Batu Malang who made a second visit to the UMM Library on January 16 2024. Accompanied by six teachers, 115 class IV (four) students carried out the Outing Class activity program by utilizing the Library.
From this activity, students were invited to go around and read the general collection in the recreation corner which contained children's books ranging from general knowledge to entertainment collections (comics, folk tales, etc.). We hope that many schools will carry out similar activities to invite Outing Class students to representative places, one of which is the library.
