In an effort to foster collaboration to increase reading and literacy in the community, the East Java Provincial Government Library and Archives Service, headquartered in Surabaya, conducted a working visit to the UMM Library on October 27, 2025. The visit was attended by Sri Wahyu H, S.Sos., M.IP (Associate Librarian), Oskar Rosdiat P (Assistant Treasurer of Expenditures), and Dwinta Kwanissara, A.Md.Lib. (Skilled Librarian). The meeting was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Asep Nurjaman, M.Si., Head of the Library, accompanied by the secretary and the UMM Library Chairpersons.
Through this sharing session and field visit, it is hoped that the Library and Archives Service will gain knowledge and insights from the UMM Library that will benefit them. Likewise, the UMM Library will receive new knowledge that can broaden their horizons and be used to make changes to the library for the better. Apart from establishing formal cooperation, their arrival was also to strengthen the ties of friendship between libraries.
