The UPT Library of Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang warmly welcomed an educational visit from first-grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 4 Batu on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. This activity is part of the library’s commitment to promoting children's literacy from an early age through engaging and meaningful learning experiences.
During the visit, students were introduced to the world of literacy, including children's book collections, library facilities, and a comfortable, child-friendly reading environment. This program serves as an initial step in building a strong foundation for children's literacy in a fun and interactive way.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement as the students actively participated in various activities designed to enhance their interest in reading. Their enthusiasm reflected how interactive learning approaches can effectively support the development of children's literacy.
Through this library visit, students are expected to see the library not only as a place to read but also as a space to learn, explore, and imagine. This initiative plays an important role in encouraging children's literacy development as a foundation for a knowledgeable and well-rounded generation.
The UPT Library of Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang would like to express its gratitude to SD Muhammadiyah 4 Batu for the visit. Hopefully, this activity provides valuable experiences and inspires students to develop a lifelong love for reading.
